    Base Metal Golems is an Extra Golems add-on that lets players build protective golems from metal and mineral blocks provided by Base Metals, Modern Metals, and Base Minerals. It adds golems made from materials including adamantine, aquarium, brass, bronze, copper, electrum, mithril, steel, aluminum, beryllium, chromium, titanium, lithium, phosphorus, potash, salt, and sulfur, with distinctive appearances and different health and attack strengths. Their special traits give them varied combat and utility roles: examples include the speedy Electrum Golem, the undead-harming Mithril Golem, the self-healing Star-Steel Golem, the poison-emitting Plutonium Golem, and the crop-fertilizing Potash Golem. A configuration file lets players customize each golem's health, attack damage, build permissions, and special abilities.
