Medieval MC [FABRIC] is a medieval-fantasy RPG and exploration modpack built around a heavily reworked world, quests, character progression, and adventures across new dimensions. Its landscapes draw on Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Geophilic, and Ecologics, while dungeons and structures include additions from When Dungeons Arise, Overhauled Villages, Repurposed Structures, Dungeon and Taverns, and Wabi-Sabi Structures. The pack offers more than 150 quests and 30 Origins, with RPG elements such as leveling and mobs whose strength scales with difficulty; Origins also provide distinct abilities, such as the Bard's power to speed and heal nearby players. Exploration extends into six new dimensions, including Mine Cells' Promenade of the Condemned, and brings challenging bosses from mods such as AdventureZ, Bosses of Mass Destruction, and Soulslike Weaponry. Survival also involves thirst and temperature, alongside seasonal changes and dimension acclimatization. Combat and character builds are supported by varied weapons and magic, including Simply Swords, Soulslike Weaponry, spellbooks, and rebalanced staffs and wands. Waystones, XP Obelisks, JourneyMap enhancements, and MapFrontiers add travel, progression, and map-marking conveniences to the adventure. The pack contains over 330 mods and is configured to integrate its content, with shader support and performance optimizations.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Fabric, 21 Nov 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 26 Aug 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 389 of its 400 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
12 mods send something about you
We read the code of 344 of its 347 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 29 of the 268 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
79 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
