    About

    Better Fog enhances Minecraft’s fog to make the atmosphere respond to the environment, with configurable cave, cloud, rain, night, void, lava, water, and thunder fog. Fog can be configured separately by biome, including its color, opacity, start and end distance, and how these values adjust relative to the existing fog. Cave, cloud, and void fog fade across configured height ranges, while day and night fog transition with the time of day; rain, thunder, water, and lava fog respond to their respective conditions. Options include default behavior for unconfigured biomes and a dimension blacklist, and transitions can be smoothed to avoid abrupt changes when entering a new biome or environment.
