About
Brazier adds a beacon-like tower structure that prevents hostile, non-boss mobs from spawning within its surrounding area, letting players keep builds dimly lit without relying on conventional lighting. Each level of the tower increases the protected radius by 10 blocks, up to 10 levels, and the range and eligible base blocks can be customized. Players obtain the Living Flame needed to craft the brazier either from a jungle temple chest or by defeating a Crazed Illager found when a woodland mansion is generated; that mage can cast fire spells, including one that summons a damaging green flame. A lit brazier can be used to create a Living Torch, which reveals the outline of the protected area when held. Cursed ash, crafted using ash from wither skeletons and rare drops from warped netherwart harvesting, can be placed to bypass the brazier’s protection for mob farms.
