    About

    Break My Fall lets players configure how falling affects entities, fall damage, and the blocks they land on, with individual features configurable and some turned off by default. Settings can make water deal fall damage with different damage percentages at different depths, adjust the fall distance needed to take damage in water, and change fall damage on hay bales. Falls can also be configured to break ice, shatter glass and glass panes, melt snow layers, turn grass blocks to dirt, or break grass foliage and flowers, with thresholds for many of these effects. Other configurable effects include melons bursting into slices and suspicious blocks breaking when landed on. For custom block compatibility, the mod provides a fragile-block tag whose members can break on impact, with configurable fall-distance thresholds and loot drops.
