Buzzier Bees expands Minecraft’s bee and honey theme with new flowers, decorative blocks, food, and other related items. Its flowers include white and pink clover, which can be crafted into dye, and buttercups that shed golden particles; a moobloom also appears in sunflower plains and gives nearby entities the Sunny effect, which can make undead mobs burn as in sunlight and keep bees from returning to their nests at night. Honeycomb gains brick and tile building sets, doors, trapdoors, and a honey lamp, while honey blocks can be smelted into crystallized honey that breaks when landed on or powered by redstone. The mod adds honey apple, honey bread, and honey-glazed porkchop, each of which restores hunger and cures particular harmful effects, as well as a honey wand and honeycomb banner pattern. Players can bottle small bugs such as bees, silverfish, and endermites, and find four-leaf clovers in jungle and desert temple chests to brew a Potion of Luck; inverting that potion with a fermented spider eye makes a Potion of Bad Luck. A configuration option lets players change whether small flowers can be duplicated with bone meal and whether vanilla tall flowers use their usual bone-meal duplication mechanic.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 4 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act. and Blocks and fluidsChanges 1 game code file in this area: how blocks, fluids and redstone work..
Adds 25 blocks, 10 items, 2 mobs, 1 painting, 32 recipes, 4 advancements and 2 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
