Better MC [FORGE] BMC3 is a large vanilla-plus modpack that expands exploration, building, and progression while aiming to preserve a familiar Minecraft feel. It overhauls world generation with biomes from Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Geophilic, and Ecologics, and adds five dimensions, including The Aether. Exploration includes hundreds of dungeons and structures from mods such as When Dungeons Arise, Explorify, and Repurposed Structures; examples include mushroom houses, obsidian trees, villager statues, and Philips Ruins. The pack adds new mobs and bosses through Alex's Mobs, Cataclysm, and Naturalist, and lets players ride dragons with Dragon Mounts: Legacy. More than 100 quests guide players through the pack, while Waystones, XP Tomes, and an enhanced Xaero's Minimap provide convenience features. Builders get thousands of additional blocks, with further additions such as glazed terracotta and paintings from Clayworks. The pack is optimized for stability and compatibility, supports shaders, and includes free built-in world sharing.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 22 Nov 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 30 Sep 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 293 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 269 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 29 of the 231 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
38 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
