Career Bees is a Forestry addon that adds a broad roster of bee species inspired by real-world professions, bred through mutations between existing and newly added bees. The breeding chain begins by crossing Common and Cultivated bees with a bookshelf as a foundation, then branches into careers such as Student, Graduate, Artistic, Armorer, Smelter, Engineer, and PHD; an Escritoire can help discover further mutations. Career bees carry out profession-themed tasks in their territory or around nearby flower pedestals: Collecting bees gather dropped items, Husbandry bees breed animals, Butcher bees slaughter mature animals while preserving a breeding pair, and Doctor and Plague bees heal entities or cure negative potion effects. Other bees work with equipment and materials: Armorers buff armor, Sharpening bees sharpen weapons, Repair bees restore items, Smelters process items, and Priests enchant items, with bookshelves able to boost their enchanting skill. The collection also includes material production and processing, from Lumber bees that harvest bark which can be crafted into logs, to Mason bees that turn cobblestone into stone bricks, Ore Crusher bees that produce two to three dust per metal ore, and Rainbow bees that produce every dye color. Mining bees extract ores within their territory without being constrained by height, while Silky Miner and Fortunate Miner variants use Silk Touch and Fortune III respectively. Some species automate apiaries or trade: a Yente princess chooses a suitable drone for breeding, Business bees sell items from adjacent inventories for emeralds, and Junk Seller bees spend emeralds on random goods. More unusual effects include Clockwork bees powering nearby Clockwork Engines, Temporal bees accelerating time in their territory, Energy bees charging adjacent blocks with RF, and Quantum Strange and Quantum Charming bees randomly swapping nearby blocks of similar material. The roster also features bees with combat and hazardous effects, including Police bees that attack nearby mobs, Thief bees that steal items from nearby players, Electrician bees that zap entities, and Mad Scientist bees that advance scientific progress with a chance of causing an explosion.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 2 blocks, 7 items and 10 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
