About
CatLib is a developer utility library intended to support Minecraft mods, initially facilitating ports of Cave Generator and Ore Stone Variants. It provides annotation-based command registration, an extensible linter with expression-based syntax highlighting in chat, and ready-made commands that mods can register and adapt. For world and registry work, it offers biome-modification events, listeners for added and dynamic registries, and accessors that expose current registry information. The library also includes tools for working with Hjson, high-level JSON transformations, noise generation based on a custom build of Auburn's FastNoise library, and basic registry lookups. Additional utilities cover input and output, serialization, and useful data types, including a functional result type for handling errors.
