A tech and magic modpack with carefully balanced recipes.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 265 graded mods, 180 are graded A or B, 48 C and 37 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
SLCP5 is a tech-and-magic modpack for experienced modded Minecraft players, built around balancing its many interconnected mods and improving performance. Its industrial and automation options include Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, PneumaticCraft, Thermal Series, Create, Applied Energistics 2, and Resourceful Bees, alongside magical systems such as Botania, Astral Sorcery, Blood Magic, Eidolon, and Mana and Artifice. The pack also adds exploration and world variety through Oh The Biomes You'll Go, The Twilight Forest, When Dungeons Arise, and the Endergetic Expansion, as well as food and farming content from Pam's HarvestCraft 2. Custom ore generation and resource unification help tie the mods together, while adjusted recipes and configuration aim to make competing ways to obtain or produce resources more balanced without losing each mod's original character. Players can pursue high-end machinery and crafting with Draconic Evolution, and face tougher Ender Dragon encounters with chances for bonus rewards such as a Dragon Heart.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 6 Feb 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 9 Jan 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 269 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
11 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 266 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (6 Feb 2022) in the 199 mods we checked.
17 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
67 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
