    About

    Create Nuclear adds a nuclear power system to Create, letting players build reactors that can generate more than eight million SU when optimized. Players can mine and process uranium and thorium into reactor fuels, and automate the refining chain using Create machinery, including setups that begin with renewable inputs such as cobblestone. Reactors come in three tiers with increasing power output and heat capacity, and their item, fluid, and alarm blocks can be arranged at different positions on the reactor structure. Managing heat is central to operation: players supply coolant such as Nitrogen, while an alarm warns when the reactor reaches dangerous temperatures and a meltdown risks a nuclear explosion. The mod’s radiation hazards affect living entities and can come from radioactive items carried in an inventory or from an irradiated area; Iodine protection and anti-radiation armor help reduce exposure. A nuclear explosion creates the hostile Irradiated Land biome, which spreads across nearby terrain, and players can use a Biome Irradiation Extractor to restore affected zones. The resource and processing chains also include Nitrate, whose products are used to make Nitrogen coolant, alongside thorium rods and other reactor materials. A linear advancement track guides players through reactor construction and operation, with milestones for higher tiers and for surviving nuclear hazards. Server owners can tune systems including reactor heat, radiation, explosions, notifications, and biome restoration. Optional compatibility lets reactors function on moving contraptions with Create Aeronautics or Sable, and allows Create Dragons Plus fans to process Snow Powder.
