Create custom machines for your own recipes and modpacks.

Custom Machinery lets modpack makers and datapack authors define their own machines and recipes, filling gaps where existing machines do not support the processes they want or add unwanted content. Machines can be given custom block, item, or model appearances, with separate looks for idle, running, errored, and paused states, and can emit light or play sounds while operating. Authors choose the machine’s item slots, fluid tanks and capacities, energy storage, and side-specific input and output behavior, and can provide an in-world GUI for viewing contents and recipe progress. Machines can respond to redstone by pausing or emitting a signal, and custom upgrades can alter recipe inputs, outputs, or processing speed. Recipes can consume or produce items, fluids, and Forge Energy, with support for item and fluid tags, NBT and durability, one-time or per-tick costs, and chance-based outcomes. Recipe conditions can depend on the time of day, biome, dimension, position, weather, redstone signal, or light level; recipes can also require fuel, nearby entities, or a structure around the machine. Other recipe behaviors include running commands at different processing stages, affecting nearby mobs, checking or changing nearby blocks, handling dropped items, and producing outputs from loot tables. Machines and recipes are primarily authored in datapack JSON, while recipes and upgrades can also be created with KubeJS; CraftTweaker is available in supported versions, though its support is deprecated in the 1.21 version. Datapack changes can be applied in-game with a reload, and the mod integrates with JEI and The One Probe to help players inspect recipes and machine information.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 1 block: Some machine block; 4 items: Box Creator, Configuration Card, Machine Creator and Structure Creator; 1 recipe.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files without running them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
The file checks found no code that connects to the internet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 13 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 3 points.
