An automation skyblock modpack to put your Minecraft tech mod skills to the test.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 152 graded mods, 114 are graded A or B, 28 C and 10 D to F. Its last update came out 4 months ago, for Minecraft 1.18.2. See the mods
Mechanical Mastery is an automation-focused skyblock modpack that challenges players to build increasingly complex production systems, with a factory-building style inspired by games such as Factorio. Players spend EMC through ProjectE to obtain raw ore chunks, process them into ingots, and automate the crafting of mechanical crystals that can be sold for more EMC than their basic resources cost. The crystals form a tiered progression: each tier builds on the previous one and demands additional automation and mod-based crafting steps, while quest-book chapters explain how to make each crystal and what it unlocks. Custom ore processing can yield up to 25 ingots per ore, and the pack brings together technology mods such as Thermal Expansion, Immersive Engineering, Mekanism, and Create for large-scale factory builds.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 · Forge, 16 Jun 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 5 Aug 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 153 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 8 of the 121 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
32 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
