Cybernetics is an augmentation mod about replacing, upgrading, and rebuilding the player’s body with a broad range of cybernetic implants. Implants can enhance or replace organs and limbs, add abilities and integrated tools or weapons, and generate or store energy; players can mix and match them to shape different builds. Building a loadout involves trade-offs: most cyberware consumes Humanity, powered implants need energy, installation slots are limited, and some upgrades depend on other implants or body parts. Cyberware can also wear down and break, disabling a component until it is repaired, while damaged organs may malfunction and careless surgery can be fatal. Full Body Conversion sets rebuild the player around a role, changing their appearance and granting additional attributes when all required implants are installed; mechanical models can be recolored with dyed metal plating. Players craft and dismantle cyberware at an Engineering Table, then install it through a Surgery Table at a Ripper Clinic or with a Robosurgeon in a Surgery Chamber. Rippers charge for surgery and may steal an implant if their Trustworthiness is low, which players can improve by trading with them. Exploration brings players to Abandoned Laboratories, where tutorial and lore shards offer guidance and glimpses of the world before its collapse. Other hostile cybernetic creatures include Cyberzombies and Cyberskeletons, while the Smasher is a fully augmented Illager built for combat; cybermobs may carry varied implants that affect their abilities and appearance. Data Shards can hold skills, documents, navigation records, or games: some install into the brain through Chipware Slots, while compatible shards can be accessed through a powered computer setup. Players can customize the appearance of cyberlimbs, cybereyes, and metal plating with dyes, and certain implants provide adjustable personal HUD displays. Compatibility can add specific integrations, such as a deployable Elytra through Caelus API, thermal-regulation implants through Cold Sweat, mana-related implants through Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks, and a spacefaring Full Body Conversion through Create: Northstar Redux.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
createcybernetics-0.4.8b-neoforge-1.21.1.jar, CurseForge createcybernetics-0.4.8b-neoforge-1.21.1.jar. 4 classes changed, in com.perigrine3.createcybernetics: PlayerAnimatorFirstPersonOverlayCompat, ModItems$172, ModItems$174, LivingEntityRendererFirstPersonOverlayMixin. We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 3 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Cybernetics in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 26 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 7 points.
