Discs Where Discs Shouldn't Be adds 14 vanilla-inspired music discs, composed to fit Minecraft’s style while extending its musical range and encouraging exploration. Five discs are made at a Smithing Table using a Disc Core, Netherite Scrap, and a disc-specific ingredient: Prismarine Shards for “wave,” Echo Shards for “lost,” Amethyst Shards for “mirror,” Glow Berries for “rain,” and a Netherite Ingot for “ember.” The other nine discs are found in existing structure chests: “watched” in Stronghold Libraries, “rest” in End Cities, “alone” in Abandoned Mineshafts, “bean” in Jungle Temples, “lyre” in Desert Pyramids, “star” in Igloos, “rave” in Illager Outposts, “waltz” in Woodland Mansions, and “sunset” in Village Houses. Disc Cores generate in structures across the Overworld, Nether, and End, and can serve as ingredients for making discs. The mod also adds whistles and three pottery sherds tied to archaeology: an Ancient Whistle found in Trail Ruins plays a tune, and smithing it with a Copper Ingot and an Amethyst Shard, Gold Ingot, Diamond, or Emerald creates an upgraded whistle with its own melody. Melody, Record, and Solo Pottery Sherds are found respectively in Trail Ruins, Cold Ocean Ruins, and Warm Ocean Ruins, and can be used to make decorative pots. The discs behave like vanilla music discs in jukeboxes, including individual Comparator outputs and automatic insertion and ejection, and the mod adds advancements for collecting discs, playing different types of note blocks, and collecting goat horns. Optional integrations can make cats dance near jukeboxes, show a custom-icon toast when discs or similar sound events play, and let the pottery sherds work with Arts & Crafts colored pots.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
