    About

    DragN's LO: Scraps & Extras expands Livestock Overhaul and Livestock Overhaul: Pets with optional animal-care and other mechanics that sit outside the base mods’ low-maintenance approach. Some animals need occasional cleaning, brushing or bathing, and access to food; neglect can lead to starvation, while species-related ailments such as saddle sores, fleas, wound infections and rabies can be treated with cures. Horses and dogs can be born with a beneficial or harmful trait, inherited from a parent or acquired randomly, affecting attributes such as speed, health, jumping, damage or disease resistance. When an animal dies, it leaves a body that can be processed with an axe for additional meat and materials; the system is also compatible with TerraFirmaCraft. Other additions include horse halters, spiked dog collars and mannequins for displaying horse tack, along with longer growth times that vary by species size. An in-game Livestock Welfare Guide explains treatments and other mechanics, and the features can be individually toggled or adjusted in the configuration.
