    Ender IO Base is the foundational module for modular Ender IO installations, supplying the shared items and basic blocks on which the other modules depend. It includes armor, weapons, tools, enchantments, and basic blocks; many of these additions have no crafting recipes or practical uses until the relevant machine, conduit, or inventory-panel modules are installed. Its equipment includes Dark Steel gear that can be enhanced with upgrades, such as armor upgrades that add powered protection or let a chestplate function as an elytra, and tool upgrades that can send mined drops directly into the player's inventory. Ender IO enchantments include Repellent, which can teleport attackers away, Soulbound, which keeps an item from being lost on death, and Decay and Withering, which apply the withering effect through melee weapons or bows.
