About
Extra Enchantments and Curses expands Minecraft’s existing enchantment system with 25 enchantments and 9 curses, each with distinct uses and mechanics. The additions cover combat, exploration, and equipment: examples include attacks that freeze enemies or deal extra damage to aquatic mobs and Illagers, bow shots that can electrify targets, crossbow bolts that launch mobs, and boots that let you walk on lava. Other enchantments can heal or boost the wearer after kills, increase health, extend melee reach, or make nearby threats visible in darkness. The curses impose drawbacks such as blindness or nausea while wearing a helmet, reduced damage, withering after being hit, or catching fire in sunlight. Every enchantment and curse has an in-game description, and the additions can be customized, including their maximum levels and which items they apply to; ModMenu provides a more accessible configuration interface.
