Explore a medieval fantasy world with quests, bosses, and player trading.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 294 graded mods, 205 are graded A or B, 37 C and 52 D to F. Its last update came out 21 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Ultra Distant Horizons is a medieval-fantasy, isekai-inspired RPG modpack built for an adventure shared on its multiplayer server, with player trading and an in-game marketplace economy. Players can combine more than 100 origins, classes, races, and jobs to shape characters with distinct abilities and playstyles, then explore over 1,000 structures, take on boss battles, and venture into new dimensions. Its exploration includes dungeons and generated landmarks from mods such as Awesome Dungeon, Dungeons and Taverns, When Dungeons Arise, and YUNG’s Better Dungeons, alongside expanded Nether and End environments. RPG combat and progression draw on spellcasting, skills, and equipment additions including Spell Engine, Simply Skills, Rogues & Warriors, and medieval armories with Japanese and Slavic weapons and armor. Distant Horizons provides distant terrain rendering, while world-generation mods such as Terralith and Tectonic expand the landscapes players can explore.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 16 Jan 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 24 Nov 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 298 of its 302 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 283 of its 288 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 13 of the 239 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
49 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
