About
Gadomancy is a Thaumcraft 4 addon focused on automation and adding practical options for Thaumcraft play, including on multiplayer servers. Its devices include the Aura Core, which scans nearby primal aspects and changes type to match the most prevalent one, and the Aura Pylon, which disperses essentia to produce effects determined by the aspect used. The Arcane Packager compresses up to nine item types into a package that can be unpacked by right-clicking, while the Arcane Dropper treats nearby dropped items as its inventory for access through its flat sides. For essentia handling, Mirrored Jars link into networks that balance their contents, and Sticky Jars allow compatible jars, including Thaumcraft Warded and Void Jars, to be placed at different rotations. The Node Manipulator alters aura nodes at a vis cost, while the Gate of the Voidwalkers opens an eldritch portal that leads into a maze with no exit until the maze is completed. Protection and combat additions include the Arcane Enervation Emitter, which uses Ordo essentia to protect blocks from destruction and prevent creeper explosions, and the Ethereal Familiar, a flying follower that can be upgraded for damage, range, and attack speed. Gadomancy also adds Silverwood golems and golem cores: Bodyguard golems protect their owner, while the Break core lets golems mine marked blocks using specified tools; Golemic Shielding gives golems runic protection without consuming vis. The Infusion Claw can start infusions from a redstone signal and retain knowledge while its user is offline, as well as automate production of Crucibles and Thaumonomicons. Other additions include Thaumic Sight, an enchantment that reveals nodes, and an infusion that disguises one armor set as another and can be reversed.
