A long-running adventure with magic, technology, and quests.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 254 graded mods, 42 are graded A or B, 25 C and 187 D to F. Its last update came out 6.7 years ago, for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
AMP Awakening Reforged is a long-play modpack that builds on Awakening Classic, combining a story and lore with more than 300 mods and nearly 1,000 quests to create a heavily customized, game-like progression experience. Its quest-led progression connects technology and magic, and many crafting recipes combine items from different mods so players follow both paths and explore mods they might otherwise miss. The world generation brings together biomes from Vanilla Minecraft, Biomes O’ Plenty, Thaumcraft, and Highlands, with smaller biome regions, varied underground terrain, widened rivers, flowing streams, and unusual places to build, including flying mountains. Mining is substantially expanded, with 65 overworld, 27 Nether, and 4 End mineables at the time described, including ores and gems; rarer, harder-to-find materials tend to occur deeper, where monsters pose a greater threat. Custom dungeons and mobs appear in the Overworld and Nether, with useful chest loot, custom mob drops, and hidden mini-bosses; mobs become more frequent and dangerous at depth without the pack aiming for constant high-intensity combat. The pack also gives builders many stone and wood varieties and decorative options through Chisel, Ztones, Decocraft, ArchitectureCraft, and Carpenter’s Blocks. Food and animal care add a light survival-management layer: varied meals are encouraged, animals may eat food left on the ground, and many begin wild before breeding improves their domestication and drops. Nearly every mod and configuration has been adjusted to improve integration, and the pack’s custom recipes and quest guidance reflect those changes rather than assuming default mod behavior.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 29 Jan 2020). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
17 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 20 Jan 2020 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 259 of its 261 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 258 of its 261 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 75 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
186 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
