    About

    Ghost adds forest spirits and haunted trees, bringing small ghostly companions and nature-themed activity to Minecraft. Ghosts and seedling ghosts spawn in forests at night: tamed ghosts can use given items to place torches in dark areas, activate a player's totem of undying, or remove a random enchantment from an enchanted item in exchange for experience, while seedling ghosts collect dropped saplings and plant them when they find a suitable spot. Some seedling ghosts hide overnight by burying themselves in the ground. Kodama live in forests and trade random saplings for amethyst shards; their saplings can include haunted saplings that grow into haunted trees. Haunted trees may contain haunted eye blocks, which can signal entity detection through a redstone comparator, while calibrated haunted eyes provide a variable redstone signal based on the distance to the nearest detected entity.
