A quest-focused survival pack that adds new places to explore.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 613 graded mods, 439 are graded A or B, 126 C and 48 D to F. Its last update came out yesterday, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Fabri's Frontiers is a quest-oriented survival modpack that expands exploration and progression while aiming to remain faithful to Minecraft's style. Its quests guide players through added content, while LevelZ skills tie progression to activities and gear: for example, Alchemy increases spell power, and reaching the Nether unlocks craftable elytras. The world includes altered and added biome encounters, with Nucleepers and Gammaroaches in the Toxic Heap, Teletors in volcanic Nether terrain, Bone Serpents in several Nether biomes, and Murmurs and Corrodents in caves. Other encounters include Frostbitten creatures and Aquamirae mobs such as Tortured Souls, Maws, and Spinefish, while the Frost Wizard and End Wastes are also featured in the project gallery. Exploration also brings structures and discoveries such as the reworked Gilded Temple, which contains a Hexing Table, and more commonly generated Nether Fortresses and Wildfire Citadels. Combat and travel have additional options, including combat rolling with brief invulnerability, Elytra-boosting fireworks, and chaotic Hexed enchantments found in the Inverted Temple in the Nether. The pack also adds practical survival and building touches, from expandable-capacity backpacks and more readily available modded chest loot to a trowel for placing blocks randomly.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 23 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 21 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 616 of its 626 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
17 mods send something about you
We read the code of 573 of its 580 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 27 of the 506 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
74 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
