Goblin's Tyranny adds fantasy goblins and their settlements to the Overworld, with a randomly generated village whose buildings, decorations, and central square vary, alongside camps, watchtowers, merchant caravans, and other isolated structures. Its goblin characters include Mini Gobs, tavern regulars and a music-playing bard, as well as warriors, bow-wielding hunters, explosive engineers, a spellcasting shaman, a bartender, a blacksmith, and wandering traders. Goblins behave differently by role: warriors defend their village, hunters attack from range, shamans can heal allies or use fire and poison, and the bard's music boosts nearby goblins. Players can trade gold coins with the non-aggressive wanderer for valuables such as a decoy, which draws nearby entities to attack it, and trade with the bartender for liquor that can also be used to make explosives. A goblin disguise, gained through fake ears or temporarily through goblin liquor, lets players enter villages without being attacked, while most goblins sleep at night and can be avoided during a stealthy visit. The mod adds a tamable Glitteron pet that retrieves distant items and arrows, plus a Chubby Glitteron mount with storage, strong armor, and no fall damage. Goblin equipment and gadgets include upgradeable weapons and armor, a Skybound armor set combining elytra and jetpack movement, healing drones, bombs, and barrels that release fire or poison when struck by a projectile. A mushroom pad can act as a trampoline or reverse fall damage, and the Boing boot enchantment increases its bounce.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 49 blocks, 79 items, 19 mobs, 2 other entities, 3 structures, 1 enchantment, 5 paintings, 31 recipes, 24 advancements, 16 loot tables, 43 sounds and 1 key binding.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
