Capture mob souls and create golems to fight and gather for you.

Golemancy lets you capture mob souls in soulstones, breed them, and use them to create golems that can fight, gather items, and automate tasks in your world. To make a golem, capture a hostile mob’s soul in an empty soulstone, place a clay effigy, and use the filled stone to give it a body; baking the effigy makes a sturdier terracotta golem, while an obsidian effigy creates a golem immune to fire and lava. Golem types have distinct jobs: Covetous golems collect items and deposit them into linked inventories, Marshy golems fish, Parched golems fill buckets or bottles from nearby fluids, and Valiant golems fight with melee weapons. Other types add further utility, including Entropic golems that break nearby blocks matching a linked block, Tactile golems that operate things such as levers and doors, and Weeping golems that heal golems and pets. A golem wand can command golems to follow you, bring nearby followers to your location, or link them to a block they treat as home; some use that linked block to interact with inventories. Soulstones have genes for type, offspring yield, strength, agility, health, and task range, which can be inspected with a soul mirror and bred with a soul grafter that uses bone meal and empty soulstones. Breeding certain soul types can produce mutations that cannot be captured naturally, including Careful sorters, Rustic crop breakers, Verdant planters, and Pious healers that can also heal their owner.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.18.1.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 4 blocks, 4 items, 15 mobs, 8 recipes and 1 loot table.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.18.1.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.18.1.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
