Animals eat, grow, breed, and behave more like real animals.

Hungry Animals adds configurable hunger and life-cycle mechanics to Minecraft’s animals, making them eat, digest food into weight, and gain more meat when heavier. Animals can feed on grass blocks, dropped or player-held food, and other animals; they may breed in the wild when fed enough, and their familiarity with players affects their behavior. Animal hygiene matters too: they produce droppings that can spread plague if pens are not cleaned, while excreta can be processed into manure and saltpeter. Wild animals are strong and agile, making early hunting and capture difficult; bolas, slingshots, and traps provide ways to deal with them. The mod also adds animal products and production options, including llama milk, animal glue made from leather, bone, and tendon, and configurable egg-laying, milking, and shearing. Configuration lets users adjust difficulty and the tempo of animal growth and reproduction, and can change animal traits or behaviors, such as defensive pigs or chickens that eat ocelots.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
Adds 4 mobs, 1 other entity, 12 recipes and 6 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
