    About

    ICBM is a combat-focused Minecraft mod built around Cold War-inspired missile systems, designed for fast-paced PvP as well as creative uses beyond straightforward destruction. Players can build launchers and send explosive payloads on rocket-assisted missiles, with options including ballistic silo launchers, direct-fire cruise launchers, remotely operated targeting, and cluster missiles with configurable payloads. Radar detects incoming threats and can trigger launchers over radio, while surface-to-air missiles can intercept missiles and other entities; an EMP tower offers a reusable, remotely triggered alternative to an EMP explosive. Explosives range from condensed charges and directional breaching charges to sonic, repulsion, antigravity, and EMP effects, alongside thermobaric, nuclear, antimatter, and Redmatter payloads. Their effects vary substantially: antigravity lifts blocks and entities, EMP drains power from compatible machines, nuclear blasts leave radioactive effects, and Redmatter consumes blocks as it moves and grows. The mod also includes throwable grenades, explosive blocks and carts, and remote controls for triggering explosives or guiding launcher fire. Missiles can also support non-destructive applications, including carrying cargo in parachutes or balloons, and some payloads can hold and activate items or blocks. The mod is intended to work alongside technology mods that provide crafting resources and power for its machines, with Mekanism among the systems used for testing and balancing.
