Immersive FX is a sound-and-ambience mod that gives players control over in-game audio while adding more immersive effects, building on Dynamic Surroundings with original audio that replaces its sounds and some vanilla sounds. It overhauls footsteps, swords, axes and pickaxes, and ambient sound, and refreshes sounds for skeletons, zombies, farm animals, lava, water and diving, and drawing or firing a bow. Additional cues accompany events such as monster spawns, crafting, hunger, sleeping and waking, smelting, dropping items, chat messages, and interactions with workstations including crafting tables, looms, furnaces, enchanting tables, anvils and stonecutters. Combat can add blood-splatter sounds and particles when a player hits an entity with a sword or axe. Ambient tracks use stereo audio, and datapacks can replace sounds supplied by the mod.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Not checked yet
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
Its author does not let other sites download its files from CurseForge, so we cannot check them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
What it sends is not known yet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs, files, images and sounds yet.
AI in the game: not checked yet
We have not read its code for AI yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
