Immersive Paintings lets players make and display their own Minecraft-style artwork, adding a flexible alternative to the game’s limited built-in painting selection. Players can import images by dragging and dropping files, taking screenshots, or supplying a URL, then use the editor to pixelate them and apply effects or dithering so they fit Minecraft’s visual style. A painting selector can show personal work, paintings shared by other players, and optional datapack collections; datapacks let creators distribute named paintings with settings such as their dimensions and whether they are graffiti. Artwork can be displayed in frames made from different materials, including glowing frames, or as transparent graffiti sprayed directly onto walls. The mod also works with Joy of Painting canvases, which can be placed over paintings to showcase the artwork. It supports multiplayer sharing, with server settings for limiting image uploads and controlling transfer bandwidth, while level-of-detail rendering, caching, and lazy data streaming help keep large displays performant.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 1 game code file in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
Adds 4 items, 4 entities, 4 recipes and 4 advancements.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files without running them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
Sends what you type in its screens
Sent to an address built while the game runs.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
We have read the code of 8 of its 12 files for recent versions.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
