Infernal Expansion is a community-built, vanilla-styled mod that broadens the Nether with additions to familiar biomes and new places to explore. It adds nine mobs across the Nether, including Volines in the Nether Wastes, Shroomloins in Crimson Forests, Warpbeetles in Warped Forests, Embodies in Soul Sand Valleys, Basalt Giants in the Basalt Deltas, and Glowsquitos, Blindsights, Glowsilk Moths, and Blackstone Dwarves around the Glowstone Canyon. These creatures have distinct interactions: Volines can be fed Magma Cream and, once full, Gold items to produce gold nuggets and Molten Gold; Shroomloins can change fungus variants when fed; and Warpbeetles hunt spiders and can shed into a new Chorus Fruit pattern. The Glowstone Canyon is a hazardous new biome of towering Glowstone formations, Shimmer Sand, pits, overhangs, and Dullthorns, where light-seeking Glowsquitos drain Glowstone into Dimstone and Dullstone and produce Glowcoke that can be used to make Glowlight items. Other discoveries include Soul Shrines, Strider Altars with possible hidden chests, Desolate Bastion Outposts to raid, buried bones, and Heaven Portals, alongside new building materials such as Soul Slate, Basalt Bricks, and Glowlight Glass. The mod also adds weapons, food, effects, and other practical features: the Blindsight Tongue Whip attacks at range and knocks enemies back, Glowsilk Bows fire dust-coated arrows that illuminate their path, and Luminance potions light the way or burn undead when thrown. Additional changes include throwable Fire Charges, renewable Shroomlight Tears, Nether travel and respawn commands, and in-game configuration for options such as biome selection, mob spawning, and hostility. Its Nether biome provider can also incorporate biomes from other mods that use the “nether” tag, and it adds specific integrations such as Glow Sconces from Supplementaries and Large Glow Lanterns from Dustrial Decor.

No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.3 to 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.3 to 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
