    About

    Inline is a Minecraft library for rendering visual elements within text, with built-in features for players as well as components that developers can reuse when creating text-rendering integrations. Its client-side matchers can replace tags with item icons, entity renders, player heads, or mod icons, and these renders can appear in places such as chat, item names, container names, and tooltips. Alternate separators let you render these elements at normal size or at 0.75×, 1.5×, or 2× scale, which can be useful for labels, and the available options are configurable in-game. Inline can add a mod's icon to item tooltips when supported mods such as EMI or REI identify the item's source mod. On the server, tags can display the item held in either hand or equipped in the head, chest, legs, or feet slot in chat. Inline renders can also be used on Create display boards.
