    About

    Jurassic Saga is a dinosaur and park-management mod that lets players build and run their own Jurassic Park, drawing creatures and themes from the franchise’s novels, films, comics, and toy lines. Its progression begins with finding fossils and amber, extracting and sequencing DNA, and using completed sequences to revive extinct animals and plants. Players can develop artificial ecosystems, modify dinosaur genetics, and create hybrids such as the Indominus rex and Indoraptor. Dinosaurs respond to stress and their surroundings: unhappy or stressed animals may panic, escape their enclosures, and damage the park, making care and containment central to play. The mod includes a broad range of prehistoric animals, including Dilophosaurus, Velociraptor, Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, Apatosaurus, Tylosaurus, and Cearadactylus, as well as newer additions such as Boa imperator and Minmi. Park-building content includes dig sites, raptor paddocks, aviaries, varied fence styles, and balloon-tour checkpoints; players can also schedule balloon routes and travel in vehicles such as a gyrosphere. Its plant and building additions include farmable Silphium, aquatic fossil corals and seaweed, Araucaria and Stone Pine trees, and wood sets such as Calamites, Olive, and Date Palm.
