    About

    Travelers Lib is a shared animal-development library for the creator’s mods, including New World and Jurassic Saga, providing animal attribute and registry helpers along with tools for building and controlling animal mobs. Its SmartAnimal system supplies asynchronous pathfinding for ground, flying, swimming, and amphibious movement, with navigation that accounts for an animal’s size, hazards, and obstacles. The library also provides a custom task controller, multi-hitbox animal parts, body rotation, and movement analysis to support mob behavior and animation. Animation features include cross-fades, additive overlays, smoother interpolation, terrain-adaptive leg motion, and physics-based tail or chain movement. Additional integration tools let mods register biome fog, mob spawns and placed features, use dynamic collision shapes for structures such as fences and cables, and trigger distance-sensitive camera shakes. A Blockbench plugin supports authoring Travelers animation definitions, IK chains, procedural motion, and easing curves for user-created content.
