    About

    LightSpeedRe is a launch-optimization mod intended to reduce startup time, especially when loading large modpacks. It retains resource-pack caching to avoid repeated work during launch, and newer versions also use concurrent loading to speed startup. When a resource lookup cannot be resolved by the index, it searches resource packs in priority order; it also removes a per-pack task fanout that could add overhead in large packs with generated models. The mod reports a title-screen-ready milestone after mod loading and the initial resource reload are complete, with the marker gated on error-free loading. Its startup behavior can be configured, including cache and concurrency settings, and those settings are preserved when LightLoad is installed alongside it.
