BattleArmory TACZ is a tactical gunfight modpack built around randomized, fast-paced matches rather than Minecraft’s usual sword-and-bow combat. Each respawn draws a weapon from a pool of hundreds of TACZ guns, spanning pistols, rifles, submachine guns, sniper rifles and machine guns, with compatible weapons set to full-auto by default. The collection includes packs such as TACZ Default, LRADD, EMX-Arms, Create Armorer, Cyber Armorer, Warzone, Apocalypse and Suffuse, alongside attachment packs for customizing sights, grips, muzzles and other parts. Gunplay features bullet drop, recoil and penetration damage, while players can modify weapons with attachments. Randomized equipment also includes tactical armor and a pool of items such as ammunition, potions, golden apples, ender pearls, totems, elytra and deployable glass cover; when the optional LR Armor mod is absent, enhanced iron armor is used instead. Four tactical throwables add different combat options: M67 grenades explode, flashbangs blind and stun, incendiaries deal damage over an area, and M18 smoke grenades provide visual cover. Matches rotate among six Counter-Strike-style maps: Dust II, Inferno, Nuke, Nuclear Town, Berlin Nightfire and Mirage, each with randomized spawn points intended to avoid repeats. The game flow includes team deathmatch, unlimited respawns, player join and restart options, automatic round-end detection and a timed restart after a match. The pack also includes performance optimizations and supports compatible shaders such as BSL and Complementary Shaders: Reimagined.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 21 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 16 Aug 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 90 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 87 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 9 of the 87 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
