    About

    LOD Server Support lets multiplayer servers stream distant terrain to participating clients, so players using Voxy can see rendered landscapes hundreds of chunks away without first exploring them. It also renders faraway players in the LOD view, including their name tags, equipment, and mounts, beyond the normal render distance. Servers can run it alongside Distant Horizons to serve both Voxy and Distant Horizons clients, and it is compatible with common server tools and mods such as AntiXray, Moonrise, C2ME, ViaVersion, and Create. Clients with Xaero’s World Map or JourneyMap can optionally write received terrain into their maps, filling in areas beyond their usual mapping range; this map integration can work without Voxy. Server operators can tune terrain distance, bandwidth and generation limits, and disk caching, while client and server settings are grouped in configurable YAML files.
