    About

    Magic Arsenal adds craftable magical artifacts and combat gear, with Spell Foci as the means for channeling energy to cast spells. Casting usually consumes stamina, which regenerates over time, and each spell is associated with two elements that describe the nature of its effects. Its governing elements are Holy for selfless or far-reaching magic, Undeath for animating nonliving things or draining life, Arcane for effects that benefit the caster, and Chaos for unintended side effects; its classical elements are Nature, Frost, Air, and Fire, covering effects such as healing and poison, wards and auras, magical travel, and projectiles or weapon enhancements. The spell roster includes Chain Lightning, which can bounce through closely packed enemies, Magma Blast, which hurls targets back amid molten rock, long-range Frost Shards, and the slow-charging Disruption Beam. The spell system is designed to accommodate third-party addons that add content such as spells, wards, armor, and charms, and its configuration lets servers tune built-in spells in a format synced to clients on connection.
