A light modpack focusing heavily on magic and dimensions, with a small amount of tech.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 263 graded mods, 72 are graded A or B, 43 C and 148 D to F. Its last update came out 5.3 years ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Witch Craft is a light modpack centered on magic and dimension travel, with a smaller amount of technology for players who want to explore and master a magical multiverse. Its magic systems and tools support adventures such as flying above the clouds, creating a pocket dimension, enchanting friends, fighting monsters and pushing through large dungeons. The pack also includes additions such as Dynamic Trees, Chisels & Bits, Lost Books and Sugi Forest, bringing tree growth, detailed building, book discoveries and a named forest to its content mix. A public server is available for playing the pack with others.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 3 Jul 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
4 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 4 Jun 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 272 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 272 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 12 of the 113 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
159 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
