About
Mekanism Community Edition is an open-source, community-maintained version of Mekanism, created for the Terralization modpack and bringing together fixes from several forks alongside further bug fixes and performance improvements. It retains Mekanism’s technology and machinery while adding practical changes such as a reworked biofuel cycle, methane fuel for bio-generators, and configurable limits for the Digital Miner’s operating radius. Configuration options include whitelisting dimensions for windmills, adjusting completed multiblock particle effects, and enabling or tuning compatibility with other mods’ materials and energy systems. The project also addresses duplication exploits, machine and rendering bugs, crashes, and performance issues, and includes additions such as trusted channels for teleporters and Quantum Entangloporters in multiplayer. Separate modules extend the project with tools, generators, DefenseTech, and beta Nuclear, Ultimate, and Mekasuit content.
