About
Metal Barrels expands vanilla storage with barrels that hold substantially more items while retaining the familiar ability to open them with a solid block above. Capacity ranges from 45 stacks for copper and 54 for iron through 72 for silver, 81 for gold, and 108 for diamond, crystal, and obsidian, up to 135 for netherite. Crystal barrels are transparent, with their top eight stored items visible, while obsidian barrels resist most explosions and netherite barrels have fire and blast resistance. Upgrade items let players improve barrels that are already placed without breaking them or losing their contents.
