Build factories and automate your way toward space travel.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 136 graded mods, 73 are graded A or B, 29 C and 34 D to F. Its last update came out 4.9 years ago, for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Create: Above and Beyond is a challenge-focused modpack that turns Create-powered engineering into a long technological campaign, with space travel and a flight to the moon as its central objective. Players work through roughly fifty inventions, building increasingly large automated factories to produce the components that ultimately feed a Data Centre and program their spaceship’s Guidance computer. The quest-driven progression moves from a deliberate early game into faster automation, with stages that can vary by world-generation seed. Its automation challenges go beyond routine item processing, combining conveyors with crystal mixing and washing, controlled explosions, colour shifting, lasers aimed at minecarts, and computational tasks. The pack adds exclusive blocks, items, fluids, recipes, and scripted interactions between machines and materials, while changing the presentation and roles of mods including Ender Storage, Advanced Rocketry, Pretty Pipes, Pipez, Metal Barrels, and Water Strainer. Trading offers an alternative to gathering every resource: errands and professions earn coins that can be spent through the quest interface’s market on resources, artifacts, and building materials, with support for automated shipping and trading. Alchemical research and transmutation can reveal secret recipes specific to a world's generation seed. The pack also reshapes the look of some revised and added content using visual styles drawn from included mods such as Create, Thermal, Supplementaries, Applied Energistics 2, and Chisel.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 15 Dec 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 29 Nov 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 135 of its 136 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 7 of the 92 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
44 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its description and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs, files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
