    Metamorph is a survival-focused mod that lets you collect mob morphs and transform into the creatures you have acquired. To earn a morph, kill a mob and pick up the ghost it leaves behind; collected morphs can be selected through a menu, favorited, or assigned their own keybinds, and normally remain available after death. Each morph changes your appearance, size, and health capacity, and many vanilla morphs also grant creature-specific abilities, attacks, and triggered actions. For example, a chicken morph slows your fall, spiders can climb walls, and a bat can fly and see in the dark; attacks can poison or launch targets, while actions include a rabbit's high jump and a creeper-like explosion. Morph properties can be configured, including health, speed, hostility, abilities, attacks, and actions; morphs can also be disabled, while modded-creature morphs generally need configuration to gain special behavior beyond appearance and basic attributes.
