    About

    Meulti’s Backrooms is a horror and exploration mod that sends players into a dangerous, maze-like Backrooms dimension, with suffocating in a block or wall described as the easiest way to enter. Its named areas include Level 0, Level 1, Level 2, Level Stairs, and Level Pools, with generated big rooms, generators, and distinct environmental blocks shaping exploration. Players can try to survive and build a base while encountering entities such as Smilers, Howlers, Skin Stealers, rats, and Voltfish, which can bring threats including bites, infection, or other harmful effects. Sanity, random lamp blackouts and flickers, ambience sounds, jumpscares, and a custom Backrooms death screen add further survival pressure and horror atmosphere. Exploration and survival are supported by loot, achievements, a HUD compass, and equipment such as hazmat armor and scuba hazmat gear for the Pools.
