About
The Forest is a survival-horror modpack centered on keeping watch from an alpine tower in a harsh climate while unsettling cries and encounters come from the surrounding woods. Players complete tasks, gather resources, and butcher animals for food and warmth as they manage detailed temperature and thirst systems and prepare for nightfall. Creatures become progressively more difficult, and later updates added a new creature while retiring an older one. The pack also supports multiplayer, with immersive messages, improved visual effects, a more realistic flashlight, and a less obstructive zoom system.
