Modern multiplayer horror modpack with the main focus on Stalkers.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 66 graded mods, 43 are graded A or B, 20 C and 3 D to F. Its last update came out 2 days ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Creepy is a multiplayer-focused horror modpack built around making players feel watched and hunted, with Stalkers as its central threat. The Stalker silently watches from the shadows and can move closer when no one is looking, while the Mimicer and Mimic Dweller threaten players by taking on familiar forms. Mimicked can use proximity chat to play sounds that imitate a player's voice, making calls from nearby difficult to trust. Beds do not work, so players cannot sleep through the night; campfires provide the means to set a respawn point, but there are no safe houses to rely on. Fake death messages and join or leave notifications, unsettling chat messages, and cave sounds add to the uncertainty, with threats becoming more intense as a world goes on. The player list is disabled to make multiplayer encounters less predictable, and the pack begins players with four cameras, a camera monitor, and bread.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 9 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 27 Jul 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 61 of its 66 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 61 of its 65 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 53 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
3 other mods show AI use only from after this release (9 Aug 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
12 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
