Mielon's The Sift adds a new dimension inspired by Minecraft Dungeons II, with 10 biomes, distinct terrain generation, an animated sky, independent weather, and Overworld-matching coordinates. Its landscapes include Soul Canyons, Sniffer Caves, Ichor Lakes and springs, monoliths, cliff arches, sculk formations, and abandoned portals, with Siftslate as the main stone; nights take on deep-blue tones, and rain appears with Ichor-colored particles. To enter, players awaken Sonorous Deepslate in an Ancient City by playing a Goat Horn, then use Note Blocks to perform the Singer's melody and open the Reinforced Deepslate frame. The dimension is home to Singers connected to the portal and Soul Blocks, Echo Golems that collect Soul Blocks, tameable Blubs that can follow and defend their owners, fast predatory Sifters, and hostile Dark Sniffers that can pull distant targets toward them with Sonic Sniff. Ichor is a restorative fluid that grants Regeneration I to living entities touching it, can be bottled or collected in buckets, and can be used with cauldrons; the mod also adds Ichor Snow and related items. Temporary Rifts connect The Sift and the Overworld, can carry entities and objects, and remain open for five minutes; natural Rifts may appear after players spend time in the dimension. For later progression, Siftite upgrades Netherite into a set of tools, a spear, and armor, while Charoite can replace Lapis Lazuli to raise eligible enchantment levels at the cost of extra experience and later anvil combining. If a player dies carrying Siftite equipment, a Mini Rift can return those items after respawning, with items waiting nearby if the inventory is full. Exploration also brings an Overgrown Willow wood family, plants and sculk variants such as Whisperbloom, Sculkflower, and Overgrown Lotus, Siftslate versions of several ores, and abandoned portals that can yield materials, a music disc, or a Siftite upgrade template. Twenty advancements provide a story path beginning in the Overworld and a dedicated guide to exploring the dimension, its creatures, materials, and mechanics.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
