MineTogether adds community and multiplayer tools to Minecraft, helping players find one another, talk, and join games together. Its social features include global and group chat, direct messages, friends lists, secure server invites, and click-to-join multiplayer. MineTogether Connect supports co-op through outbound proxy tunnels, so players can connect without opening router ports or sharing their real IP addresses with one another. Players can also browse a public server list, while optional features include private minigames and a world pre-generation helper for servers. With the separate BlockShot mod, players can share screenshots and builds directly in chat.
