Monster Of The Ocean Depths adds the aquatic lurker, based on Mob A from the original Minecraft mob vote, as a dangerous predator in deep ocean biomes other than frozen oceans. Lurkers swim backward, then pursue land-dwelling targets in the water by grabbing them with their tongues and dragging them underwater, while biting to hasten the kill; they can also chase boats, pull riders out, and crush the boats. When caught, a player can fight back: a weapon dealing more than eight damage points knocks a lurker away temporarily and releases its prey, creating a brief chance to escape or attack. The mod includes biome-dependent lurker variants, including an elusive abyssal variant that drops abyssal membranes for crafting the From The Abyss enchantment; defeating a lurker also awards an achievement and a serrated tooth. Serrated teeth slow enemies on hit at the cost of a small amount of damage to the user, while fish traps gather biome-specific fish and other loot when placed at least one block into valid water, with their appearance changing as they fill. Fish traps can collect up to four items and work with hoppers, and endermites can spawn in warped forests; these additions and other options can be toggled in the configuration.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.1 to 1.16.5.
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls. and User interfaceChanges 1 game code file in this area: menus, screens, tooltips, the chat window and the in-game overlay..
A library packed inside it changes 2 more game code files: Libstructure.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.1 to 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.1 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
