About
Monsters&Girls adds tameable and interactive monster-girl creatures to the world, with mushroom-themed varieties as its central group across the Overworld, Nether, and End. Its mushroom girls include brown, red, yellow, ink cap, and snowball types in the Overworld; crimson, warped, soul wanderer, infernal, and molten types in the Nether; and Ender Puffball in the End, with distinct biome appearances, mushroom-planting behaviors, and wood or fungus additions. Their abilities give the varieties different uses: snowball girls freeze and slow foes, soul wanderers wither enemies and regenerate, molten girls set enemies alight and cook food, and Ender Puffballs can puff up to jump higher and fall more slowly. Players can tame mushroom girls with foods such as cookies and rotten flesh, gather stews and status effects from some by using a bowl, or use Genesis Powder on a fungus to summon a mushroom girl; rare large mushrooms can also be collected for decoration or crafted into hats. Other creatures include mandragoras and fruity mandragoras, which can bless nearby players when fed but retaliate with harmful effects if struck; wisps that follow gold and drop gems or gold; and hostile or tameable Spooks associated with urns and spooky forests. The collection also features Blue Slime Girls that swallow suitably small mobs for temporary healing effects, Gourdragoras and seasonal Jack'o Gourdragoras with several size variants, and Globberies whose hot-glue shots leave slowing puddles. In the Puffball Forest, players can encounter the Ender Puffball and Globberie, while the flying Maiden of the Skies can be ridden and steered by holding Ender Willow fruit. Creatures can be ordered to stay, wander, or follow, and decorative options include tiny beds and station carpets that let monster girls settle in place; several kinds can also be made chubbier or slimmer with specific items.
