Humanoid mobs get new variants through over 85 custom player heads or unused vanilla mobs! No Resource Pack needed!
66.2 of the 68 points that apply = 97 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
More Mobs adds visual and gameplay variants to supported humanoid mobs, using more than 85 custom player heads as well as unused vanilla mobs, without requiring a resource pack. It affects zombies, husks, drowned, skeletons, strays, wither skeletons, mooshrooms, piglins, pillagers, evokers and vindicators; the custom heads can also be obtained and placed in the world. Examples include snowy, jungle, miner, sculk and infested zombies; snowy, magical, Egyptian-helper and sculk skeletons; and mummy, pharaoh and Anubis husks, with variants that may carry distinctive gear, effects or particles and appear in particular biomes or on particular blocks. Other additions include brown mooshrooms, which can spawn naturally, and illusioners, which can appear through an evoker transformation. Some variants add combat or loot differences: examples include a Stray Queen with a speed effect, a Wither Skeleton King with a totem and damaged netherite chestplate, and an Anubis husk that spawns on sandstone with a totem and golden sword. Settings let server operators control custom heads, head drops, extra loot, upside-down spiders and whether undead mobs with custom heads burn in daylight; spiders hanging from ceilings turn upside down when that feature is enabled. The project is server-side, so players joining a server running it do not need to install it or a resource pack, and its mod version can also be used in single-player worlds.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 1 advancement.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 1 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
